A:AnswerHey there - that’s a great question. Yes, the Auto Fill feature does work if the glass has ice in it. Ice in the container may affect the fill volume. If issues are experienced, use less ice. Also, splashing may occur depending on the location of the container, water flow rate, container shape and ice cubes. We hope this helps in your decision making! Lauren@GEAppliances

A:AnswerHi Buddy - Thanks for considering GE Profile Model PVD28BYNFS! Space Saving Icemaker produces approximately 3.6 lbs. per day. The ice bucket stores 3.8 lbs. of ice that can be dispensed through dispenser on the door or by removing the ice bucket from the door. Also, bottom freezer and French door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that holds 12 - 24 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. After the 12 - 24 oz. of cold water is dispensed, any additional water dispensed will not be chilled until the water in the coil tubing has had time to chill again. We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerHi John - While PVD28BYNFS is not available without Built-in WiFi, this feature does not require activation. However, learn more about WiFi at CONNECTED REFRIGERATORS: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/connected-appliances/refrigerators.htm - Thanks for viewing GE! Sue
A:AnswerThe quickest and cleanest way to eliminate the squeaking of a refrigerator door or drawer is to lubricate the hinges and/or rollers with the recommended oils, then work the door back and forth until the noise goes away. The following are recommended oils; Paraffin wax (not candle wax) - can also be used on the door gaskets, Petroleum jelly - recommended for hinges, door gaskets and Fresh Food drawers/bins (including rollers), and Mineral oil - general use anywhere, can be washed off.
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for reaching out to us. No, this beautiful refrigerator does not offer an internal air filter. We wish you the best! Vikki@GEAppliances
A:AnswerHi there! We can understand how this could be alarming with a new refrigerator. A newly installed refrigerator may take 12 to 24 hours to begin making ice, and please allow 2-3 days for the icemaker to completely fill the bucket with ice. We do recommend throwing away the first few batches of ice to allow the water line to clear. What you are experiencing is normal, just give the unit time to adjust and we're confident your icemaker will be operating properly in no time. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to help! Julia@GEAppliances
