Mine was hard wired
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey there, and thanks for reaching out with this great question. We appreciate your interest in the range hood, and can advise the model is not designed to use an adapter plug or extension cord. The vent hood would be hard wired, and must be supplied with 120V, 60Hz, and connected to an individual, properly grounded branch circuit. It should be protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time delay fuse. The wiring would be 2 wire with ground. There’s further information on the necessary electrical requirements, as well as installation details, in the manual (the power supply is discussed on page 9). If you’d like to review that, it’s available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. We hope this is helpful. If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re glad to offer assistance any time. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
