If there is a pause or interruption of the wash cycle while the washer is in use, this can cause the electronic controls to lock up. The pause or interruption during the wash cycle may happen unexpectedly, such as a power outage, or may happen purposefully, such as an action by the user. We recommend resetting the electronic controls on your washer by shutting off the circuit breaker or fuse to the washer or by unplugging the washer for 2 minutes. The wash cycle will need to be selected again and started after you restore power. This should resolve the issue. If the issue persists, we recommend scheduling service online by visiting the GE Appliances website or by calling 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) M-F 8AM-8PM ET, Sat-Sun: Closed.
