Q: QuestionIs this washer designed to be quiet? Previous GE Profile washers have had "Quiet Wash" as a feature, but I don't see any reference to that on this GE Profile 600.

Q: Questionwhy do i watch multiple clothing items not even get soaked in water, let alone cleaned? Literally watched four items just jostle back and forth on top of the other clothes for the entire "wash" cycle never once being drug underwater with the agitator.

• A:Answer Enable “Deep Fill” on the control panel. “Deep Fill” can be used on any cycle with the exception of “Normal” and “Sanitize”.

• A:Answer Hey there, and thanks for contacting us with this great question. The Deep Fill button will add 3 more gallons of water if you press it once. If you press and hold the button for 3 seconds, the washer will fill to the maximum water level. This will be approximately 26 gallons except on portable/stationary models, whose maximum water level is approximately 20 gallons. We hope this is helpful. • A:Answer Hello. We appreciate you reaching out, though we regret any confusion over an agitator. We want to help, and we can advise the model you asked this question on, PTW600BPRDG, is meant to use an infusor rather than an agitator. With this type of washer, the infusor replaces the agitator – the mechanical action of the infusor moves the clothes through the washer, against the sides of the tub and around the infusor to provide the same great wash performance that an agitator would. This particular model is not designed to use an agitator, and one cannot be added. If you have a different model, you’re welcome to reach out to us with a private message over our social media (such as Facebook or Twitter) providing the model number – we would be happy to check another model and determine whether it has an agitator. Q: QuestionI just ran my first load in this washer and the agitation stops for a few seconds between agitations. I am very concerned that the washer might be defective. My sisters high-efficiency washer agitates continually. I took a video but it is in .mov.

• A:Answer Hi there - we checked the information for this unit, and we can confirm that the washer pausing during some stages of the wash cycle is considered normal. -- The washer pauses to reduce the wear on your clothes and the likelihood of soap residue. The sound is also adjustable with the GE Appliances Smart HQ app. In addition to an end of cycle signal, this unit also includes a digital cycle countdown, and LED cycle status lights, meaning you'll never have to wonder about cycle times. We recommend following the general cleaning instructions for your model available in the manual, starting on page 15.
