“I need to dehumidify my basement and have an exhaust fan to attach the exhaust to, but only one. Can one of the dual exhausts be covered so there is only one? I don't have a window I can use.”

• One duct is an air intake and the other is the exhaust. If you use the unit get a 5 gallon bucket to collect the water from the drain hose and plan to empty the bucket regularly.

• In the manual, it recommends that you don't connect either hose if you are running it in dry mode, as a dehumidifier. On the other hand, why buy this instead of a dehumidifier?
