Questiontop is a gas range, is the oven electric or gas?

- Answer This model is fueled by gas and utilizes gas for both the cooktop and for the oven. This gas range, just like many new gas range models, has an upper electric heating element that comes on during Bake only for top browning of foods. This element is not used during Broil.

- Answer This is a gas range and does not feature a "Hot Cooktop Light." A flame can be observed at the burner when it is on.

- Answer Yes, this model has a Control Lock feature that locks the oven controls. The Control Lock only locks the oven controls and does not lock the cooktop controls. To lock the controls, hold the Cook Time pad for three seconds. Lauren@GEAppliances

- Answer This PGB935YPFS range features a Dark Dorian Gray colored cooktop underneath the grates. It is a very dark gray. The cooktop finish is a smooth porcelain enamel and the finish is not a matte finish.
