QuestionCan the gas burners be used when the power is out by using a match or lighter?

- Answer Hi there, In the case of a power outage, you can light the surface burners with a match on your electric ignition gas or dual fuel range or gas cooktop. Hold a lighted match to the burner, then turn the knob to the low position. Use extreme caution when lighting the burners this way. The oven of your gas range is lit by electric ignition, eliminating the need for standing pilots. 1990 and newer gas ovens cannot be lit without power supplied to it. We hope that this helped! QuestionIn the description the dimensions say without handle depth. is the oven like older models where the doors simply slide up and off? or would we have to remove the handles and if so is that a hard job?

- Answer Hello- We appreciate your question. The handles don't simply slide off, they are attached and wouldn't be simple to reattach. The dimension is given so you will know how far the handle sticks out into your kitchen. Note: The doors can be removed if needed. We recommend at least 2 people remove them. QuestionDoes this stove come with a propane conversion kit?

- Answer Hi HD - Yes! All of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas and also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. The conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) and are included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Thanks for choosing GE Profile! QuestionDoes the oven have the capability to disable the burners from coming on? Effectively locking the burners so if the knows are accidentally turned on it doesn't try to light.

- Answer No, the burner knobs do not have a locking system. There is a Lock Control feature that locks out the control panel so that pressing any pad does not activate the controls. QuestionDoes the top oven offer a broiler feature?

This model does feature a Broil option, with both Hi and Lo options, specifically in the upper oven; the lower oven does not have that cooking mode. QuestionFor this model, which range recirculating air blower insert would work? I do not want a microwave above my range.

- Answer Hi there, thanks for your question! We do not currently manufacture recirculating vent systems that can be built into your range. A range will either come with a downdraft system already incorporated into the range, or you would use an Over the Range microwave or vent hood above your range for ventilation.
