No. There are internals that you cant disconnect. You can only stretch the unit to adjust for wall thickness but your wall hole would need to be about 13½ inches high for it to fit through. After install, you could build the wall back around it but it would be your call.

Please try again later.Hello - We do not recommend that you disconnect the front of the unit from the back; however, you can adjust the chase-way (back of unit) if needed for installation. You can find the instructions on how to complete this step on pg. 12 of the owner's manual under the section titled: "Adjusting the Chase-Way". Please let us know if you need additional assistance.
