- Answer Hi there - that’s a great question! We can confirm that the microwave oven interior is Stainless Steel. The microwave doors have an outer door, a mesh screen in the window, and a plastic shield or film that covers the screen. The outer part of the door is plastic. - Answer Hi, We appreciate you reaching out and will be glad to assist you! All our over-the-range microwaves are designed to fit into a 30" cabinet opening. This makes choosing a replacement a breeze. Please note however, that you will need to use the mounting kit that comes with the model. This is because the kit is made specifically for that model.
