- Answer Hi there, and thanks for your interest in the capability of our water dispenser tray! We know how important that feature can be and are glad to advise. We would not recommend leaving anything wider than 6" unattended on the dispenser tray or the container may be at risk of falling; it would depend on your specific coffee carafe. We can also recommend that the Hands-free AutoFill option works best with a container between 4 to 8" tall and 2 to 6" wide. We hope this will be a good fit for your coffee carafe! QuestionHow long is the power cord and where is it located? As you face the refrigerator from the front is it center, left or right?

QuestionWHEN THE DOORS ARE OPENED STRAIGHT OUT SO THEY ARE 90 DEGREES FROM THE FACE OF THE REFER DO THEY TRAVEL PAST THE SIDES OF THE REFER BOX WHICH IS 36.75". iF SO WHAT IS TEH TOTAL WIDTH WIT THE DOORS OPEN AT 90.

- Answer Unlike older profile fridges, the current temps are never displayed. Only the set temps. Bad on GE.

QuestionOur GE Profile water dispensing is extremely slow and takes many minutes to fill a quart of water for coffee. We have had refrigerator for 9 months and we are on our 4th filter. The day warn moves 2-3 days in one day & we use less than 2 gallon a day?

- Answer Make sure you have the proper GE water filter and not some knockoff. There is a difference of flow and pressure differentials.

- Answer Hello there - great question! The defrost type of this refrigerator is frost guard, which basically means it'll defrost on a usage-based system (only as needed). It accounts for door openings and usage to determine when it is necessary to defrost and how long the defrost cycle needs to run. QuestionWater dispenser only produces 1 cup of cold water and the rest are warm. Why would a fridge only be able to store one cup of cold water and the rest of them are either warm or room temp. This is very disappointing and I was told this was the design. True?

QuestionCan you hook a RO system to this refrigerator?

- Answer Hi, Great question! We appreciate your consideration of this model and we'd love to help. To connect a Reverse Osmosis system to a refrigerator icemaker/dispenser, an extra water storage tank is required to assure proper operation. GE Appliances no longer offers the RVKIT that contained an extra storage tank and two 3/8" Tee fittings/adapters. Do not use copper tubing for the connection between the Reverse Osmosis system and the refrigerator. Because of this, we don’t recommend that you hook it up to an icemaker/dispenser as an additional tank is required so that there isn’t an issue with the water pressure.
