Yes, this model has floor protect, so it has a pan underneath which can catch up to 19 oz. of water. Smaller leaks evaporate, and larger ones make the pan tilt forward, so the water comes out and away from the unit. This model doesn't have a leak alert. Models PDT855SSJSS and PDT845SSJSS do, and those have the pan underneath as well as a moisture sensor which indicates a leak. If there's a leak alert, the dishwasher will cancel the cycle and pump out any water still in the unit.

Dishwashers with Floor Protect have a pan below the unit that catches small leaks up to 19 oz. Small leaks will usually evaporate once they hit the pan. With larger leaks, the pan tilts forward so the water is directed out the front of the unit where it can be seen and corrected. Models PDT855SSJSS and PDT845SSJSS are equipped with Floor Protect with Alert. Dishwashers with Floor Protect with Alert have a pan with a moisture sensor below the unit and will show “LEAK DETECTED” on the display if moisture is detected.
