Hi- Thanks for viewing GE Profile! The amount of water used in GE Appliances dishwashers has been significantly lowered over the years. Changes have been made to continually make the dishwashers more efficient. The Heavy cycle uses approximately 6.6 gallons. Note: Water usage will vary based on turbidity (soil level), including when the upper/lower Wash Zones are used. This model features our advanced wash system with more than 140 cleaning jets.
