Hi KK- The fresh food section is approximately 18.21" wide x 26.00" deep. The freezer section is approximately 12.75" wide x 26.00" deep. Shelf dimensions are normally within 1/2"-3/4" less than the interior width dimension. You can certainly place a normal size turkey (approx. 22-23 lbs.) in the freezer bin.
