• Hi Sue, I am happy to help. Model PSS28KSH meets all energy guidelines, but is not a energy star model. We do not anticipate any issues with your icemaker. If you should experience an issue, this model has a one year warranty. Thank you for checking. Lisa from GE Appliances.
