How long you cook is up to your personal preference. The Indoor Smoker can cook up to 24 hours at a time and smoke up to 4 hours at a time. It can be placed on kitchen counters, under upper cabinets. Nothing should be left directly on top of the smoker as the surface will get hot and a few inches will be needed to access the pellet hopper door on top of the unit.
