I just read an article on Cnet . com that says: "Unlike traditional smokers and pellet grills, no significant amount of smoke escapes the chamber of GE Profile's new appliance, which is sized to live on your countertop. Instead, wood-pellet smoke is filtered through an advanced catalyst converter, allowing heat and smoke-flavored hot air to cook and add flavor to the food inside. There are no filters to clean or replace."

Outside of the normal recommended cleaning methods described on pages 27-28 of the owner's manual, no maintenance is required. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Watching the videos on maintenance, prior to my purchase, there’s no mention of filtration maintenance, just using the supplied brush to clear the pellet ramp in between uses. I’ve used mine twice, hurry and buy one while they are $300 off.
