“How does salmon come out? (Like Nova in stores?)Does it take long? Does it need ‘liquid smoke’, or just the pellets?”

• It does wonderful with hot smoked salmon . Hot smoked salmon is not the same as locks which is cold smoked the GE will not cold smoke.

• I believe Nova is cold smoked at around 90-110 degrees. I read this unit won't go below 150 degrees.
