We were told by Geek Squad to go ahead and use them. Now I read a Best Buy response that "severe" damage could occur if pedestals are installed later? We have been using for 4 months and are waiting on pedestals to arrive. What is accurate response and what is compensation for "severe" damage when installed later, when it is finally in stock.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there - thank you for asking this question! We apologize for our delayed response and we're also sorry to hear that your pedestal delivery is delayed even more than originally anticipated. We can understand how incredibly frustrating this must be. As far as using the machine before the pedestal is installed - we do not recommend doing this. The washer cannot be installed for use and then later laid down to have the pedestal installed. Not only will the shipping bolts already be removed at this point (if these bolts are taken out and the unit is laid down to install it on a pedestal, severe damage to the washer's suspension system can result), but there is also likely water all through the system that could spill into the electronics when it is laid over for the pedestal installation. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. Best, Kelsey@GEA

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can use your washer while you wait for the pedestal. But once you receive it you will love your washer even more that you do now.
