“Is there a light or some sort of indicator that shows when the oven reaches temperature? For example, will it show "preheat" while preheating then shut off when it gets to the selected temp? Or have a light that turns on or off?”

The display has a "Pre" indicator when it is getting up to temperature. The display also shows the current temperature as it climbs. In addition, the Oven will chime when the preset temp has finally been reached.
