QuestionI'm looking for an ammonia based refrigeration system that doesn't run a compressor. The typical system is too loud. Do you make a model that is ammonia base or a quite mini fridge such as an ammonia cooling mini fridge system?

QuestionI'm looking to replace a wine cooler, all of which seem to be junk. What is the temperature range of this refrigerator?

- Answer Hi JASATX- While the controls do not equate to specific temperatures, the refrigerator temperature is similar to a full-sized model and will be approximately 34-42 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, check out our GE Profile™ Series Wine Center PCR06WATSS. The temperature range is from the low forties to the mid sixties. It is not a refrigerator and does not maintain temperatures like a refrigerator (below 41F). Red Wine setting is approximately 55F and White Wine setting is approximately 45F. QuestionCan the refrigerator produced water for example if the freezer compartment frosts up or freezes up I have a unit in the basement and the carpeting around it is soaking wet I just want to know if a malfunctioning refrigerator could be the cause

- Answer Hi - We are sorry to hear of the wet carpet around the refrigerator. We suggest to defrost the unit whenever frost on the wall of the ice tray compartment becomes 1/4" thick. See page 7 of the Owner's Manual for complete details on defrosting your refrigerator: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60705-2.PDF - If the refrigerator is not cooling properly, this frost can melt and possible leak. Warm weather, frequent door openings, or door left open can cause warming temperatures. Check to see if a package is restricting the door from completely closing. If necessary, adjust the temperature control to "Coldest". Also, moisture may form on outside of refrigerator during periods of high humidity. See page 10 of the Owner's Manual. QuestionWhat is the actual floor depth of this frig not including the door and does the door overhang above the floor? I am installing this on a concrete floor where ceramic tile starts 22” from the back

- Answer Hi Suzie- Depth without door is approximately 21". The overall depth is 23 3/4". The minimum distance between the floor and the bottom of the door when legs are adjusted to minimum height is approximately 1.42" (+/-0.04"). We hope these dimensions are helpful. QuestionIs the front of this actually Stainless steel, or does it look more like silver / grey plastic? i.e. if I have other shiny stainless steel appliances is it going to match? From the photos it looks more like a grey plastic than stainless steel.

QuestionCan this refrigerator be installed on carpet? We have an under-counter cutout space in our game room, but the flooring the fridge will stand on is carpet. Do we need to put a piece of plywood down for it to stand on under the cutout cabinet?

- Answer Hi LR- The interior dimensions of the freezer compartment are approximately 19" W x 12" deep x 3.5" tall. The width of the fresh food compartment is approximately 20.5". Height from the floor to the bottom of the freezer compartment is approximately 24". Depth above crisper/drawer is approximately 18.5". Depth below crisper/drawer cover is approximately 12.5".
