I haven't tried a thick comforter--I doubt it would fit. I have washed a full-bed-size matelasse coverlet (about as thick as a blanket), and it came out beautifully.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Angel, I am happy to help. This washer has a 2.2 cubic foot capacity. Pounds (lbs) is not used as a rating system for washer capacity. There was no industry standard that would allow exact comparisons. Nor is a washer limited in practical terms by the pounds or weight of clothes it can wash. It is limited by the volume of clothes that can be put in the machine. For example, a down comforter can fill the entire machine but weigh very little, while blue jeans are heavy but typically a smaller load. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
