“I have 33-1/2" closet so I have about 6-1/2" for back hook ups.Question;my dryer vent is to the left of the unit. A contractor said it wasn't enough room to get dryer vent out of back & turned to the left with 6" in back, but seems to me it should work.”

Hi Sue- Thanks for viewing! 6 1/2" clearance should be adequate. The dryer features 3-Way Exhaust; Rear, Left, Right. The centerpoint of the left-side vent (when facing unit) is 37" from the floor and 6.5 from the rear edge of the unit. Minimum clearances between dryer cabinet and adjacent walls or other surfaces are 0" both sides and rear and 1" front and top (Closet Installation). Consideration must be given to provide adequate clearance for installation and service.
