Q: QuestionI have a switch outside on my deck and one inside my house and both control the pool pump. I want to control the one inside with google. Will this one work or if not can someone suggest another.

• A:Answer I hope this is clear and others can clarify if appropriate. I can only speak to GOOGLE HOME because I have one and use it. GOOGLE Home does not control anything. It can only control something by concocting / communicate with a BRIDGE or HUM which in turn communicates with the device you want to control. I had to purchase the SAMSUNG SmartThings smart Hub (now available for $50.00) to control this particular GE switch. It’s a little tricky to set up but both SmartThings and GOOGLE HOME provide excellent support. The SmartThings Smart Hub is probably a good investment because it supports many devices. I can absolutely tell you that GOGLE HOME will control this switch through a SmartThings Smart Hub.
