Hello Mike! Thank you for your interest in one of our products. To answer your question, yes, it will send you a notification and it will take a snapshot of that movement, it can also record. The snapshot and footage can be accessed using the Geeni application. Please just make sure that you are using a recommended SD card to activate the recording feature.
