Yes, I spray the grill with cooking spray before grilling. Let the grill cool a little, wipe with paper towels, and last time I then poured a cup of warm water over and dried with paper towels. Cleaned up nicely.

Thoroughly clean all parts after each use. 2. Remove temperature control probe (DO NOT IMMERSE). Wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. 3. Remove grill base and empty drip tray. 4. Wash grill plate, drip tray and lid with warm, soapy water. Wipe dry. Important: Do not use metallic scrubbing pads, steel wool or any abrasive cleaners to clean any part of your grill; use only nylon or nonmetallic scrubbing pads. Make sure the receptacle is dry before inserting temperature control probe.
