“How do you clean the humidifier and how often?”

• I clean it once a week. More if I start going through a lot of water. You can clean the plastic surfaces with dish soap and water. The element need to be soaked in white vinegar. I can partially fit mine in an ultrasonic cleaner and that works really well.

• I've been running this humidifier 24/7 for weeks. The unit remains pristine, not requiring any cleaning. I believe this is due to the RO (Reverse Osmosis) water being used.

• Best way I find to clean is with a little vinegar water then let it air dry out. wipe the base down let dry a day..

• The Crane Germ Defense 1.2-Gallon Warm and Cool Mist humidifier should be emptied daily and disinfected with white vinegar at least once a week.
