The PS5 currenty does not support resolutions other than HD and 4K. While this monitor will work, it will be in pillboxed 16:9 mode and have black bars at the left and right. Variable refresh rate is also not enabled yet on the PS5, so that feature of the monitor won't be used either. Sony has officially stated they are considering enabling other resolutions in the future. Whether that includes 21:9 resolutions is unclear, but for now this monitor isn't recommended for console gaming unless it's concurrently being used as a PC display.
