Best value ultrawide gaming monitor

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Color, Design, PriceThis monitor is perfect at this price point. Picture is nice, and So far everything has worked great, using G-Sync works too with my GTX 1080ti. No reported issues I've read about online for my monitor. It did take me sometime to get the settings in Nvidia control panel to make my games looks fast and smooth. Now I came from 1440p 144hz TN Dell monitor With NATIVE G-Sync module built in. So at first this monitor fell really slow and blurry during fast movement. But like I mentioned after messing with settings for a while I got it where is Much better. It's not as quick and smooth as the Dell one I had But it's still 144hz and looks alot better overall due to it being VA panel. So for this price I'm not complaining and enjoy gaming on since the certified G-Sync ultrawide monitors cost few hundred more dollars. So for those that are coming from 60hz or 1080p monitors without FreeSync, this for sure will be Really nice upgrade. I know at this time it been sold out, but if you find it somewhere else for similar price, I'd recommend it. Unfortunately mine did come with a chipped foot on the bottom of the stand. I will not dock a star off due to this since it can probably be super glued back on and plus I got it at even lower price at $359. That being said I am considering returning it and just getting the more expensive LG ultragear ultrawide monitor, I haven't decided just yet. In the end this will be a great upgrade for most people, for me the trade off is with the lower response but better image and color (HDR also was nice but nothing mind blowing but not terrible in my opinion, it did looked good in Destiny 2 gameplay), and the size upgrade from my Dell going from 27" 16:9 to this 34" 21:9.

Just.... BUY IT !

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5No flickering. It's a CURVED VA panel. Some lightbleed during completely black screen is expected and depending on your monitor height you may notice it or not. Gigabyte deserves this review for releasing an affordable ultrawide 144hz with useful features. Coming from a 27" 144hz 2560x1440. I am more blown away by this upgrade than from a 60hz to 144hz because of the curve and massive display area. Absolutely impressed and 100% recommend. Thank you Best Buy for having it in stock and fast shipment.

Good value display

Quality2 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5Pros: Games look amazing at 100+FPS(with my new 3070!) The ultra wide is amazing for games obviously, but the extra screen space for multitasking is amazing too. Very nice display for the price. Cons: cheap plastic stand wobbles. The single ‘joystick’ UI is annoying until you get used to it. The ports face down, so if you lower the adjustable screen, the cables have a sharp bend. The speakers are terrible(but no one will use them) I paid $75 extra for a 4 year full replacement no deductible warranty. If you want some peace of mind.

Perfect Ultrawide

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I was looking for a new monitor to add to my setup for college from home and came across this GIGABYTE ultrawide. The pricing was perfect and online reviews were pretty good. I was not disappointed and highly recommend to anyone considering this one. The upside also is this monitor is "G-Sync Compatible" even though it's FreeSync. NVIDIA will pick up that it can use it, which was a huge plus for me. Originally I was noticing some flickering using this feature, but it looks like NVIDIA was able to correct it in a later update as I no longer experience any issues.

Amazing Display

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Absolutely incredible display for the price. It just sucks sometimes that the online content on NETFLIX and other streaming services does not support ratio on this. Once Youtube and other services catch up with that, it would be amazing to watch content on this. I game on this monitor and it's a treat. Stands tall on all the specs mentioned by the manufacturer.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Love this monitor. If you can find it, get it if you want 144 refresh rate, 3440x1440 (2k) and HDR. Wide screen is very bright. Works well for gaming and everyday use.

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 534" next to a 27". Monitor is great. Swings above it's class in competition. Chose this for it's specs over the 550 usd range of monitors and am no disappointed. Fantastic monitor. There is a reason it is sold out across bestbuy, amazon, newegg, and b&h. If you see it's available just buy it. bought 2 (another on the way).

Q: QuestionIs this 1500R or 1800R Curvature?? I wish more manufacturers would include this info by requirement (hopefully all will soon)
Asked by bb90.
- A:Answer It is 1500R

Q: QuestionI have an Nvidia GTX 1080. Will I be able to use this monitor to its nearly full potential? Also...how often does this come in stock?
Asked by MarGo.
- A:Answer You should be able to run the resolution... It is more a matter of what detail settings you have going in your games. I would think that you should be able to run games decently with an good framerate if only based on the 1080 but I wouldn't expect a 144 refresh rate on ultra settings. There's going to be other factors such as RAM, SSD vs HDD, and CPU etc.

Q: QuestionI just purchased this monitor and in the settings it says the refresh rate is 60hz, not 144. Did I receive the wrong model?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Have to enable 144hz in the settings on the monitor and in the graphic card settings under Nividia control panel. If you need help check YouTube should fine a easy walkthrough explaining how to turn 144hz on in nividia settings

Q: QuestionDoes this have built-in speakers. Also does it have a 3.5 audio out on the back. Thanks for any help! : )))))
Asked by CalR.
- A:Answer It does have speakers but it might as well not have them. It other words they are laughably quiet and tin sounding. It does have a 3.5mm audio jack however should you want to use it for audio pass through.

Q: QuestionIs this 4k and HDR?
Asked by petnicc.
- A:Answer It is a 1440 monitor. So comparing to others, it is the halfway point between HD and 4k. This resolution is a nice step up from standard HD but a little easier for a computer to handle than a full 4k (2160) monitor when used for gaming. It is technically an HDR400 rated monitor, however that is essentially entry level HDR and would need some fine tuning to make it very effective. Comparing to other monitors in the price point, most claiming to have HDR are also rated the same at 400 level.
