Hi Commandaq, Yes you can plug this laptop to an external monitor through one of the thunderbolt ports or the HDMI via the included AERO Hub. You can then output a higher refresh rate that way (The laptop display is a 4K 60HZ OLED panel) Hope this helps! - John
