• Although the directions state not to place in direct sunlight. I have 1 in a window at my office so I can view when someone is at the door as well as when they pull into the parking lot.

• Yes. I do it. Just turn off IR lights/cut filter in settings. Need to have adequate outside lighting.

• Yes, it can be pointed out a window for a driveway. I'm not sure of the distance, but we use one of ours out the window and there is a zoom option. You will get constant notices for any motion detection. Any time someone drives or walks by, or any animal walks or flies by, you will get a notice. So, you will need to decide the purpose. If it is merely to record the front driveway when motion is detected or it is a high traffic area, you probably will want to turn off notices or they will drive you crazy.

• Yes. But if light is on inside home camera will reflect. Obviously u can't see out windo if light inside and dark outside. I would suggest put infront of closed shutters

• Yes. The only requirements is that you have to plug it into a wall electrical outlet. Where you point it is your choosing.

• Yep--it can. The only issue to be mindful of is if it gets hit with too much direct sunlight, creating an overheating situation.
