Very good image quality, but in order to view in 1080p nest claims you need at least 1.2 Mbps of bandwidth. I have about about 50 with a few devices hooked Up to my network ( Xbox one, mobile devices, other surveillance cameras.) I have a 1 1/2 -2 second delay in the view feed. This delay will be based on your connection. I think if you switch the image to a lesser quality it may shorten or eliminate the delay completely but I love the 1080 resolution and is one of the reasons I purchased it. When it detects motion it takes about 8-15 seconds before you receive an alert. This is also based on your connectivity. Nest also offers a two year warranty. They have friendly 24/7 customer support
