• It will always record 24/7, but you have to pay if you wish to go in time to view what was recorded. Minimum is $5 a month to be able to go back 5 days.

• You need to purchase something called Nest aware in order to view history from the cameras. There are three different options available. Each option goes back a different number of days. Prices and details are on their website.
