Q: QuestionHi. A few questions: 1. Is this camera viewable in the Nest App or only on Google Home? 2. Is the live stream ‘always on’ or does it need to be activated? 3. Does this camera plug in or do you need a junction box? 4. When is it available? Thanks.

• A:Answer 1) Only Google Home. 2) Not sure what you mean by activated. I am subscribed to Nest Aware and thus my cameras record 24/7. I can also live stream it as quickly as the app loads. 3) You have to hard wire it but you don't need a junction box. I however found it easier to mount and install it with one. 4) Now.

Q: Questionreplacing existing 2-bulb floodlight, have 4 wires (2 BLK & 2 White) & 1 ground coming out from wall that powered the floodlight. the camera has 1 BLK & 1 White & ground, how would i hook up the camera with the existing wires currenty? thank you

• A:Answer I doubt it will work with Alexa sadly, but Alexa might be more popular, but not as good. In fact I've had both ecosystems and Google is by far more superior in ease of use and various technical advances, like routines and the ability to spot animals, cars, packages, and people. If you are looking for a floodlight camera though, Ring has one as well which is Alexa's own.
