Depending on when your house was built, it might not be a problem. However, I strongly recommend finding it because the install process asks what your transformer specifications are which should be imprinted on the transformer. The transformer is usually in a garage. Not sure that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is how I set mine up. My existing doorbell wires were too short to use so I purchased the power adapter from the google stored. Drilled a new hole through the exterior and wired up the doorbell to the power adapter and use my Home Max and Home Mini for the notifications. Luckily for me the other side of the wall was the furnace room so I had an easy way to plug it into power.
