“My original doorbell is on left side wall of my door Not beside door. Can I place the nest doorbell on right side beside door & still receive a chime indoors & have power to the camera? Or does it need to be hardwired to original doorbell for it to work?”

Has to be hardwired. It is a wide angle lens (good thing) and includes and 15 degree plate so it can get a better angle.
