“The unit goes inactive when I’m in another room or gone. I can house set for 77 and come home to a house over 81. Then it says X amount of hours till I reach my 77. How can I change this?? If I set a temp that is what I want to maintain.”

I think you can turn off the ‘away’ feature and then the temp would stay at the setting you program.
