No, this does not require a “c” lead vonnection.

Mine didn’t need it. It pulls its power from the hot and cold wires. Just make sure you take a pic of where your wires are hooked up now so you can match them. If you put the wires in the wrong spot it won’t power on.

We needed to have a C connection. Our furnace was short cycling until we added the C connection.
