• I didn’t have to purchase any additional sensor. I simply replaced my existing thermostat and it worked perfectly.

• The Nest Thermostats do not work with third party sensors at this time. So if you'd like to monitor other rooms using a sensor, you'd need to get a Nest Temperature Sensor as well.
