• A:Answer Use the included pin or a paper clip and press the reset button and hold it. After the light turns yellow continue holding it until it resets again. Repeat add device in the Google home app. If it still doesn’t connect you may have an unsupported WiFi security protocol.

• A:Answer Hey there, ElleLuck! Thanks for your inquiry! A highly visible security doorbell can help deter potential intruders. You can install your doorbell in a place where it can easily be seen and make sure its status light is on to help discourage intruders. To get the camera view you want, you have to adjust the doorbell’s position by hand. Use the Home app to check the camera’s view so you can adjust the position from the mounting plate or wedge if you need to. To use the wedge for a better camera view, make sure to install the wedge then position the baseplate plate over the wedge with the G positioned upright and use the wedge screws to secure it in place. Then attach the doorbell to the baseplate, align the circle at the bottom of the doorbell to the hole at the bottom of the baseplate, and push the doorbell in then down until you feel it click into place. Nest protect smoke and carbon monoxide detectors which use the Nest app. Google hub max which has a camera that uses Nest app. All my other devices use Google Home App. Once both are installed you can access the Nest app from within the Google Home App. It all works very well together.
