• No. Nest Wifi is a router that broadcasts Wi-Fi to any Wi-Fi capable device. It replaces your traditional router and you will still need a modem from your internet service provider (ISP). You can connect it directly to your modem using an Ethernet cable to set it up and get an internet connection. • The cable companies usually give u a modem/router combo that’s not very good quality, when u set this up u only need a modem from the internet company with your own new router far superior to cable company routers
