Not really. You can add an app like Hulu or Netflix and watch some network content but not live and not local.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can add the plug-in called KODI to your Nexus Player and view TV channels provided you have a computer with a TV tuner card or other device that can receive TV broadcasts and Argus TV software. This software (and TV tuner card) can receive TV broadcasts that can be routed through your Nexus Player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This has SOME local channel apps, but those require activation via cable subscription. You can also try Hulu and Netflix as they offer many TV shows the next day. For live TV look into the Sling.tv app, it offers many TV packages for around $20/mo and has live streaming options

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend a Mohu antenna. Some come with an amplifier which works better in some areas. I connected the antenna directly to the TV. Do a channel scan and it should pick up all the major network channels. I cut the cable cord about 5-6 years ago and love it. I don't stream from a PC. Instead I would recommend getting a Roku which is fairly cheap and has everything app you can imagine. That's if you are streaming something other than the major networks. You only need the antenna to your TV to get ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW etc... However, if you want a PC streaming capabilities, it depends on how you have your home network set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device is too tech for most people. It is not a tuner and does not natively stream local broadcasts. You are limited to what apps you can install onto it.
