• You have to plug it into an HDMI cable, with the other end into the TV, of course!

• It depends on your TV, as the Nexus Player connects to the TV through HDMI. If your TV does not have an HDMI port, you won't be able to use the Nexus Player with your TV without special adapters.

• It Only has an HDMI port on back of the Nexus Player. However, If you find a HDMI converter to use for your particular tv. I see no reason why it wouldn't be able to work.

• Roku 2 and 3 are only HDMI. Roku 1 has composite video output plus HDMI.
