You'd have to buy it outright at full retail. No issue popping in a SIM for a different carrier. Only caveat is the locked bootloader which stops you from rooting if you're into that. Some locations only allow Verizon account holders to purchase the phone - monthly and full retail.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to pay the full retail price if purchasing the Pixel 2 from Best Buy to use on Sprint. But you can use a Best Buy or another credit card and make monthly payments on that. It's not exactly the same but close. Also, if you pre-order the phone, the full payment is not due until the point in which you pick up the phone/point of sale. Then, take it to the Sprint store for them to install the SIM. I'm doing the exact same thing.
