I'm almost positive Verizon is not going to let you finance through them without signing up for a phone plan. I used my best buy credit card and cash and just straight up asked for an unlocked version (even tho the phone did have the word Verizon in the skew for some reason). I threw my T Mobile SIM in and it took it with no hassle.
