It adjust within a week but you might have to charge it some before bed. Google recommends 30 to 35 percent to get through a night of sleep for tracking. That's about a 7 to 10 minute charge before bed. My recommendation is if you shower before bed or before doing your last nightly routines throw it on the charger. Not a big deal.
