You can leave it in the sun for a couple of hours. Or possibly use a dryer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got the water out by quickly extending and retracting the inner tube like I was extending the pole and then putting it back in its smaller setting so that the water would be pushed out past the rubber ring.

I extend the pole out all the way, and just wait... the water cycle will eventually take care of it. So, it has not been an issue for me. I bet the pole would fill up more if it was submerged in deep water though... I have not tried this.

Long answer: Loosen the screw fastener for the telescoping pole and repeatedly open and close it. 80% of the water will be removed this way. (If it takes in water, how would it float? Better off finding a different product.)
