“Does anyone know if the battery can be removed for a backup battery in case the built in runs out?”

• Currently there are no spare or backup batteries that can be used with the session.

• No it only has the internal battery. I bought a portable charger to charge the GoPro in-between usage.

• For this model, the battery must be recharged rather than replaced.
