If it is anything like Florida.... taking 720p video should work decent but anything higher will get you about 40 seconds before it shuts down or freezes up. I had mine on my wrist most of the day and the sun heats it up quite a bit... add video recording to it and it's almost too hot to touch.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The main issue you're going to want to watch out for is to keep the camera's internal temp below 125F. If the GoPro gets above 125F, it will shutdown until it can cool off below that temp. In general though, the GoPro should be fine as long as there's good airflow.
