“Can you replace the lens on the hero 8 if it ever got damaged or scratched like you can on the 7?”

• No, unlike the hero 7 unfortunately you can’t for a slimmer sleeker design go pro decided against it. However I would recommend you use the screen protectors as it could be quite costly to get the screen repaired. As soon as I got my camera I put the screen protectors on and they work great!

• The lens protector on the HERO8 Black is not replaceable. If you're looking for additional protection for that lens cover, take a look at out Tempered Glass Lens + Screen Protectors or the new Rollcage protective sleeve. The lens cover in the Rollcage is replaceable.
