You can fly in a beginner mode then take that off to fly at faster speeds. The maximum AGL (above ground level) you are allowed to fly is 400ft. Meaning you cannot go higher than 400 ft above where you are at or 400 ft above if you are near a higher structure or topography. That is an FAA rule, not the manufacturers. You can set height limits and distance limits with the Karma Controller. But do not go over 400 ft AGL unless you have prior authorization from the FAA.
